महाराष्ट्र सरकारने शेतकऱ्यांसाठी सुरू केलेली Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana शाश्वत सौर-ऊर्जेवर आधारित सिंचनाची सुविधा पुरवते. या योजनेमुळे शेतकरी सौर ऊर्जा पंप आणि सोलर पॅनेल्स कमी खर्चात मिळवू शकतात. सामान्य श्रेणीतील शेतकऱ्यांना पंपाच्या एकूण किमतीच्या फक्त 10% तर अनुसूचित जाती आणि जमातीतील शेतकऱ्यांना फक्त 5% खर्च करावा लागतो. उर्वरित खर्च केंद्र व राज्य सरकारकडून सबसिडीच्या रूपात दिला जातो.

• अर्जदार हा महाराष्ट्राचा कायमस्वरूपी रहिवासी असावा.
• शेतजमिनीच्या मालकीचे कागदपत्र आवश्यक.
• शेततळे, विहीर किंवा बोअरवेल यांसारख्या पाण्याच्या स्त्रोतांचा प्रवेश असावा.
• मागील सौर पंप योजनांचा लाभ न घेतलेले शेतकरी पात्र.
